Hey, you know what? Look at all this wonderful time I'm 'wasting' by voice acting for these fandubs. Am I planning to 'go pro' to be a professional voice actor? Nope, not at all. Is it worth it? Hell yes. Why? Cause it's awesome. 8D And, by remaining amateur, I feel like I can do what I want to do, when I want to do it, however I want. I don't need to stake my livelihood on it, and in fact, that's not the point; I want to bring characters to life and make these totally free video games, fandubs, animations etc. into something cool, just because I want to create and make imagination real.

I also write, and in fact that is my 'main' hobby per se, though it's starting to cross over with my voice acting in that it's going multimedia 8D I want to get published as well, but it's not for the money -- it's about the visibility and distribution of the idea into other people's imaginations. The thing about the 'pro' world is that they have resources to distribute the hell out of it so that it's right in people's faces. Heck, Pixar teamed up with Disney since Disney was the one who had the distribution power of a nuclear submarine. If I got a lot of money out of it but didn't get people to see it, I wouldn't be nearly as happy (or not happy at all, perhaps...) than if I got no money out of it but lots of people read it. ^o^
