And I think you've summed up here why I ♥ Winry/Al so very much. Because, dammit, Winry deserves someone who will look at her like the sun rises and sets on her (without being her spineless whipping boy--because Al could totally stand up to her if it were important... not that she would ever try to smack him down if it were truly important to him), someone who always has a soft smile for her, who always sparkles his eyes at her, someone who likes to kiss her cheek and treat her like a princess. And I continue to want that for both of them. ♥
