[cosplay] The Doctor
SO I TOTALLY WENT TO NYC THIS WEEKEND and it was amazing! moonsheen is my hero and I love her and her roommate Danni, because they are both so sweet.
While I was there I acquired the material for the Tenth Doctor - imported from England, the material was posted at 15$ a yard but the guy selling me the fabric was really sweet and brought it down to 10$/yard. Still expensive but TOTALLY WORTH IT.
I also acquired the Doctor's wig.
This wig is simply amazing. It started out more girly, so I trimmed it a bit, added styling gel and some hairspray and viola! Instant Doctor. The style is really malleable, and when I was done taking these pictures I just smoothed it down and put it back in its bag. I expect that all I'll need is more gel and more hairspray to make the Doctor's style somewhat more permanent. =D
