Thank you, everyone, for your responses to my 'tell me about a good/bad restaurant experience'. They were fun to read, especially those of you who told me stories about good experiences: they lifted my spirits, and I needed that. :)
I'd like to do another audience participation post!
As most of you know, I identify politically as a Republican. This gets me a lot of flak from time to time. Every so often fandomsecrets has stuff about being Republican in fandom, and I always see a few DIAF!!1! responses, which usually get people on both sides of the aisle going >:\ at them. But it made me think.
Tell me what political party you identify with. Then tell me about a time someone from the opposing/a different political party lambasted you for your beliefs. I'm not looking for stories about times where you had heated disagreements about policy but you both kept it to the issues, I'm talking times when someone has turned to personal vitriol (You're stupid, you suck, you should die in a fire).
