"Too slow!" aka Vikki Really Loves Dissidia!Zidane
How much do I love that Dissidia!Zidane's taunt (or one of them, at least) is 'osoi yo!' Could be translated as 'too slow!' or 'you're late!' I haven't listened to the English (I'm sure it will break my heart), but I'll bet it's translated as "You're too slow!" with a horrible Bronx accent. XD

Zidane vs. Squall (fight)(Japanese)
In both of these the players are fighting on Zidane's 'home' battlefield, and the music is FF9's bossfight battle music. ♥ You can hear Paku Romi voicing him, obviously. I think during his limit break trance attack, Zidane says 'I'm not weak!' and something about a perfect combo but I'm not sure about that.
He's the only FF hero of the Playstation/Playstation 2 era that I can think of who keeps his chin up
THIS. This explains why I always thought Zidane was pretty mature/older! Now that I think about it, I realize that out of Squall, Cloud, Zidane, and Tidus, Zidane has led the least sheltered childhood which might explain his maturity level, but I love that he's not going to angst on the road. XD;;
(And you know what? I love that Zidane went off and did that. He didn't mope while there was something important to do; he moped while they were having downtime. He got drunk (and that's even funnier knowing he's younger than Squall and Cloud loooool), his friends came and told him to get his sorry tailed ass in gear and get over himself, and he did. All the characters in FF9 are adorkable. I ♥ everyone!)
