Giant Alien Robots from SPAAAAACE [part 3]

I've handled this subject so often over the phone that I don't know if I have much to say on the matter, but.

For those of you who have read my other GIANT ALIEN ROBOT stuff, this one is a little less philosophical or economic than social. This essay is about ...

Something I thought of while reading this, which is somewhat related (maybe??). Do you think there's any indication of a gender assignment to the Allspark, as in, could it be considered "female" because of it's reproductive capabilities?
I don't know much about the Transformers fandom aside from having seen the movie a billion times, but I was wondering if there was any evidence of that...? I would generally refer to it as "it," but the Allspark could be a potential candidate for an overarching "mother" figure, even if it's only role is as a reproducer.
Does that make any sense? XD

If femininity is determined by reproductive capability, then the Allspark is the only 'female' on the whole of Cybertron! LOL I DID NOT THINK OF THAT ( ... )

So it doesn't seem that there's any particular evidence of the Allspark as a mother goddess type figure, but I think it's an interesting argument =D Like I said, I'm not well-versed in the fandom, so it's hard for me to really make any assertions about it.
But in terms of the gender discussion, if we really were assigning genders to the Cybertronians, I think it has some basis that the Allspark would be the only "female," whereas the other robots lack gender, and it's humans that attempt to assign gender to them (as you showed in the Bumblebee example).

I'm interested to see if the next movie addresses any of their religious beliefs or has anymore back-story about Cybertronian society.

In the Transformers animated movie from the 80s, the planet that Unicron eats at the beginning portrays a Transformer-like culture wherein child Transformers clearly exist (just to be eaten moments later!). Which still doesn't support the idea that CYBERTRONIANS have sparklings, but it does give some credence to people who want to claim that machines can have kids.

SLIGHT credence, but hey, I think they take what they can get. XD

(full disclosure: I do not believe in sparklings)

a;sldfja YOUR ICON. (I need icons of bumblebee, damn it all I AM IN LOVE WITH A GIANT YELLOW ROBOT.)

AWW BABY TRANSFORMERS. I've heard the first movie was like the ultimate jack-up of G1 continuity (I don't know firsthand), so is that the only official use of 'sparklings' so to speak? Nonetheless I have to agree that it at least gives some kind of minor support for the idea.

...... I have been traumatized by this one fic where Bumblebee was a sparkling and EVERYBODY LOVED HIM. EVEN MEGATRON. So. I am heavily biased against sparklings.
