Interesting developments!
HAY GUYS
THINGS I HAVE LEARNED THIS WEEK:
1) Leather does not take hot glue at all!
2) Leather also does not exactly take goofoff. It just smears stains. which makes cool patterns if you do it right!
3) Casting resin EATS blue foam.
4) Window sealant silicone does not take paint!
5) Mold builder smells like something died in your room.
6) I think I have killed off eleventy billion brain cells from silicone, mold, and resin fumes!
Most importantly:
7)I might not be able to come to Katuscon!
This last one MAY be a false alarm, but Katsu falls on Valentine's Day and President's Day weekend, which means we technically can't request off of work. I'm going to talk to my boss about it tomorrow, but I may very well be out of luck. ALAS.
Anyway. Thank you all for your kind feedback on Dante's progress. I'm going to be finishing the costume within the next four days, so look forward to a final product on Thursday if all goes right!
