[cosplay 2008] Summary post!

Well, con season is over and everyone is doing it! I was going to wait until December to do my own cosplay summary but now sensitivinferno, nerdcore, and waynekaa have all, um, revived this particular meme and IT'S ABOUT THAT TIME.

I may or may not be killing time before I go to usagi_odango's house, too. XD;;

Cosplay 2008

FAILEDCON: Ohayocon 2008
We tried to go to Ohayocon last year but in the end we couldn't finish our costumes in time (ryomoki, rukawagf, and me), and then to add insult to injury my car alternator died.

New cosplay (no picture): Sailor Uranus (S season) (UNFINISHED)
(Ryo would have been Sailor Neptune and Jackie would have been Sailor Saturn.)

Somewhere in this time there was a private shoot with rukawagf and strife_cosplay in which I was young Squalo and Gokudera casual from REBORN!, but I have no idea where the pictures are and so they are lost to the annals of time XD;;

Katsucon 2008
I brought 5 costumes to this con and only wore 2!
New costume (no picture): Watanuki Kimihiro (school uniform) (NOT WORN)

New costume: TYL!Gokudera (Katekyo Hitman REBORN!)


Revamped costume: Allen Walker (version 2.2): I finished reconstructing the costume with nicer pleather and replaced the shoes.


Sakuracon 2008
Rewore: Allen Walker (Crown Clown Alpha w/newly constructed costume - the only chance I had to use the zippered-off sleeves XD;; )

New costume (No picture): Yoh Asakura (casual)(Shaman King)

New costume: Yami no Yuugi (battle city) (Yuugioh!)


AnimeNEXT 2008
Rewore: Dark Yuugi (Yugioh!), Allen Walker (ver. 2.2)

New costume: Neku Sakuraba (The World Ends With You)


Otakon 2008

New costume (no picture I will admit to): Pharaoh Atem (Yuugioh!) (You don't get a picture because OMG I HATE THE WAY THE WIG LOOKED IN THIS and I'm going to remake it before I wear it again, AUGH FAIL.)

New costume: Sora (Valor Form)(Kindom Hearts II)
Lots of effort, low return. Except, you know, that sweet 'Best in Class' award. ♥


New York Anime Fest
