I know nothing about this fandom, but your cosplay looks pretty epic. That first photo's awesome.
Should I get into Soul Eater? I haven't had a new series in awhile. Also, my friend is refusing to read D.Gray (EVEN THOUGH HE LIKES THE ANIME) and he thinks Allen's boring, so I'm passing on your meta - is that cool? ^^;
Thank you! It was really simple but a lot of fun to wear. ^____^;
Soul Eater is run in GanGan which is the same phonebook as Full Metal Alchemist; like FMA, it has a very strong plot enhanced by shounen-esque fighting arcs. It takes some work to get into, IMHO, because the main characters don't initially tend to grab one's attention, but if you can get to part 3 of chapter 1/Episode 3, then you'll meet Death the Kid, which was early on my only reason for reading the manga. XD;
The anime is awesome and also done by the same team that did FMA (Squeenix/Studio Bones), so it's beautiful.
And yes, feel free to spread my meta to the ends of the earth! ALLEN IS AWESOME and everyone should know it XD;;;
I miss cosplay so much. Fortunately, my sister was all 'hells yes, we're cosplaying for Sakuracon' when I asked, so in December I'm back to craft-related woe. XD
I think I'll check it out! If I was able to get into Nabari no Ou, which has the most boring plot in the entire world, I can definitely stick with Soul Eater long enough to get to the awesome character. Illegal internet downloads, here I come! Because I don't read Japanese nearly well enough to just buy it. Though I did buy the first 10 volumes of Tsubasa because they were in a bundle for $2 a book. But that was a special case since I've already read them and CLAMP is love.
And Alex is so getting your meta. He needs to be converted to Allen Walker-ism.
