.... as usual, I'm pretty much planned out costume-wise for the next year.
(1)
'Amano' Zidane Tribal - AnimeUSA, Katsucon
He still needs some elaboration, especially on the vest - more lace, more drapings around the waist (you can never have too much of that, since he's *all* hips). I intend to either make or commission his blades, probably the Mithril ones (which I believe are curved and jeweled). With any luck I'll be able to make them snap together. XD;;
(2)
Allen Walker - AnimeUSA, Katsucon
I'm actually planning on doing the frightening and masterful new form of Innocence. This involves a full costume change, so it will be complicated and where most of my cosplay budget goes in the next few months. Since the anime is coming out in October, Allen really must be completed by November. It involves prop work, especially his arm, which is long and spidery. AAAAAAAAAAH.
(3) Kimihiro Watanuki - Katsucon
dlgr, help? What exactly are we doing for this? Sewing is easy enough, so I expect the costume to be a relative cinch, and I even have the 'gold' eyes for his usual 'oooh look I'm spooky cat boy!' cover pictures for the manga, but I need guidance! XD;;;
(4) SUPER SEKRIT COSPLAY! - Katsucon
There are a select few who probably know what I'm talking about. Out of those people, I am the LUCKY one. I'm also the main character. How sad! An investment of 200 dollars will complete the costume, sadly enough. Too easy.
(5) Monou Fuuma - Otakon 2007
A co-cosplay with
digikoomi, and it would take nuclear explosions to stop me from going through with this. I need to make *wings*, so Innocence!Allen is a warm-up in terms of prop-making. An elaborate costume to be sure. But I'm willing to put in the budget to make it! (Another character with golden eye option ... those yellow contacts are useful for something other than Ed ...)
I can't do more cosplays than these in all likelihood - unless you're willing to make my costume for me. These are the only three cons I'm hitting up in the next year, so, c'est la vie!
