its been a while....
Ok so have been majorly busy and plus had forgotten my password since livejournal MADE me change it so havent had a chance to update! So here it is!
I have just spent the entire afternoon watching the BBC version of Pride & Prejudice - omg - colin firth as Mr Darcy is sooooo goddam sexy! That lake scene *drowls*! anyone who hasnt seen it for a while please go and buy the boxset and watch it over and over again to remind yourself of how great it is! I wish life could still be as simple as it was then - with days spent reading, walking, picking flowers, embroidering - so fun! Hehehe! well it was far more worthwhile than reading through the small forest i printed out yesterday about the V&A!
I really need to go to the gym soon...(well maybe not today but definitely tomorrow) I have 5months til my holiday and feel as big as a whale...so diet and exercise here i come! (had better finish the tub of shortbread biscuits i brought today first though..and then theres lauren's freshly baked cakes downstairs...too much temptation!) seriously though its getting annoying now that none of my clothes fit or look as good as they used to (within reason of them looking good on me) and it needs to change! There - public announcement and now everytime i look on LJ it will be there to remind me that i need to do something about it! Besides - sitting behind this darn desk on this darn computer will do nothing to help my health (although will ultimately help me pass my degree!)
So whats coming up for me over the next few months (other than chocolate restrictions and daily visits to the gym (joy!)) Well...feb is kinda boring in that most of it will be spent writing my first draft of dissertation which is due on the 28th, although have an archsoc pubcrawl next thurs which should be great - new semester starts next week too so will have a fun week of swapping modules and praying i dont have to do feudalism and capitalism! March is slightly more exciting with Staind gig on the 8th and visit to jo around her birthdayish time (fingers x) And thats about it!
well im going to go and do something slightly productive for 1/2 an hour before the final bit of dancing on ice - where ever i move to next its gonna be close to an ice rink as i really want to start going more often - it looks so fun! will try not to leave it so long before next update - although it really is only Jo who reads it and she knows what im up to anyway! hehe!
