Right. Trying to get some notes typed, reading done, etc. Going to have to bring work with us to the Republic (thank the gods we have a rental car!).
So mamasan and I are washing clothes, I'm working, we're planning some of our trip and I hope to have some trip notes written up and posted before we leave.
But, quick notes...
Walked through the Old Town Square of Prague as the US was getting a severe beating from the Czech team (World Cup, in case you've been living under a rock or in the United States). Lots of fun (*shhhh*I was actually supporting the Czech team*shhhh*).
Booking tours is tricky. Be sure your travel agent's a good one, or book directly if at all possible.
Know-it-alls are a pain in the arse.
A large meteor could hit the Earth and if it didn't interrupt the footie, none of Europe would notice or care.
There's a heat wave in Europe, but it's bypassed Belfast (thankfully - the days before we left were pretty brutal in my attic room with a small window, small fan and no aircon). Hopefully the West will be cool.
