Journals are done. 600-800 words on each of the following:
-Given genocide is a crime against humanity, the response of the international community should be straightforward. Discuss.
-Should we be concerned that the states most involved in the arms trade are those who also impose economic sanctions?
-To what extent does the unresolved social trauma experienced during war contribute to the reproduction of future violence?
-To what extent does peacebuilding reflect specific western values not applicable to post-war societies?
Four sources mandatory for each (two had 5 sources); three were a pretty solid 700 words, the other was *cough*ninehundredandsomereallysmallchange*cough*, but I think it'll be fine. I just had so much to say, which, contrary to my general personality, isn't really a problem in papers. I'm usually all about the brevity, thank you Polonius (wasn't that him? 'brevity is the soul of wit' or something similar?).
Anyhow, turning journals in soon, then drop books at library, then grocery run! yay food!
Class tonight (rescheduled from Monday The Bank Holiday), then comedy at the Waterfront, then likely some work since I was up super late last night *cough*thismorning*cough* and therefore woke up around 11 and am just embracing the nocturnal until the 12th. At which point I will pass out and wake up in time to celebrate O's birthday on the 13th.
That is all, over and out.
ps, the weather today was supposed to suck, but it's really very lovely and I wish I could lay outside and do nothing for the rest of the day.
