random enough?

Four hours at the library and another four at B's house. Library time was quiet, as per usual. (Spoken like a girl who's only volunteered three times now.) B's house was dirty, as we tackled her attic. But we're about half done and meet again in two weeks.

Got to see the kids twice today, dropping things off at dad's to go to the auction house (they're cleaning house and I'm shuffling B's stuff onto him so as to avoid trips to the charity shop). Needless to say, they got kind of excited over the last visit. To the point that the boy child actually leapt into my arms, yes, I said leapt. It was beautiful. Seriously.

If it seems like I'm getting overly emotional over little shit lately, it's cuz I am. It's about that time. Which means that even though I'm all showered and in my jammies, I would murder some ice cream right about now. Oh, and it's after 10 and I live in the boonies, so there is no ice cream in my future, but it's all I can think about. Damn hormones.

The Guardian is on tv. I like this show. Note to self - find out if it's on dvd and put it on mom's christmas/birthday list.

Anyone out there catch the pilot of the unfortunately-named Bunheads? I'd be interested to see what you thought. (And does the thing at the end mean her husband died?)

Is six too young to watch Sabrina? The Harrison Ford version just ended and I think she'd really like either that or the original version. What other classic not-kid movies should I include on her Summer Bucket List?

I feel like there was more, all day, that I wanted to say, but it's gone, completely and utterly blank. Time for bed, I guess . . .
