(no subject)
God, I love pseudoephedrine! It clears the sinuses and leaves me all fuzzy and weird. Allergies are kicking me in the ears and throat, mostly, though the head, eyes and nose are not being spared in any way.
Which means I'm starving because I can't swallow anything. Or rather, it burns like fire and shooting pains run through my ears when I do. So I try not to, but for rehydration.
Managed to work yesterday and today, work tomorrow evening and friday.
Went to Ren Fest on Sunday and aside from sitting in traffic, had a great time. Found two new bands I love and their cds are on my Christmas list. Yay for internet ordering!
Bones in less than a month. Have loads to tape for mom, but she sent me a box that includes set 5 and 6 of Foyle's War (which means I have a full set now). I feel I must watch at least one while sick tomorrow. It's my duty to her as a great mom who sent me an absolutely spectacularly awesome present.
Dad's wife sent me home from dinner with Modern Family Season One on dvd because she said it was great. We'll see...
Have a line on a new/second job at an old friend's cafe. The pay is better, it's only part time, but I think I can do it with Panera. Or at least I can try.
Sadly, not much else happening. Trying to plan New Years excursion, but can't get train tickets this far in advance and airfare's pricey and we'd love to stay in the Old Town, where parking is at a premium and navigation a bear.
