you can't make this shit up
Many e-mails, many phone calls, many internet pages opened later, and . . .
. . . I'm still not registered. But I finally figured the damn thing out so if GU can refuse my Vista request then I can send another (to the proper billing office) and they can approve it and we can all go along with our business. It just absolutely totally unequivocally needs to happen by close of business friday. I need to be able to book the hotel, print out all my stuff, pack what I'll need for classes (and clothes - do I dress professionally, business casual or casual?), make sure I've got everything they could need from me.
And this is all making me mildly anxious/upset/vexed, rather than want to throw my computer out the window or eat a pint of Coffee Heath Bar Crunch. So, you know, I reacted like a normal person rather than a crazy person. Go me!
