Heja Sverige
Well, I wish Sweden a very happy National Day. The holiday is only two years old, and thus is generally not-paid-much-attention-too, but none the less, Happy Sweden Day. The holiday is kinda lame, cause it isn't really an "independence" day, this being because Sweden was never colonized by another country. Sweden's National Day lies on the day that King Vasa was crowned, which marked the ending of the union between Denmark and Sweden, so it kinda is a day of liberation, but not really.
More importantly, Sweden kicked Iceland's ass all over the field (5-0) during a European Football Championship qualification match, and this happened on National Day. So that is rather fitting.
I officially graduate very soon. Of course, I was de facto done a long time ago.
The weather is gorgeous. I'm spending most of my time sitting in the grass and sun with friends, cause soon they'll be hopping on planes to travel all over the world, and that will be the end of that.
Sad times. Happy times. Simultaneously.
