so, today the entire sort crew had to start an hour late because of an idiot. One of our drivers has decided to use the new driver as a helper, and instead of having 2 drivers doing deliveries we have one truck with both drivers, thus making deliveries take twice as long.
when told of this, our plant manager, who is a buddy of this dimwit, basically told everyone to start later.
we of course argued this, but to new avail...so..
monday morning we got behind, really quick..deliveries were late, the front end had no work, place was fucked up.
the driver in question was happy because he had the nw driver doingall his work, and layed the blame for being behind on him. Problem is on saturday the new guy did the job by himself, in half the time.
needless to say the clients wern't happy, and I spend a few hour on the phone placating them.
so, of course the plant manager has to reverse the decisian, and claim he didn't know all the facts, which is of course, bullshit,
also i spend a half hour on the phone with a pakastani man trying to order linen..fun.
