i'm trying to find my mom a ride from MSP, where she's currently stranded, to La Crosse (see my craigslist post below), and am wondering if you can tell me anything we don't already know... apparently the public trans is sorely lacking on that particular route - like it only goes every other day?!
again, i'm so sorry to bother you here, but please help if you can think of any ingenious methods of trying to get my poor mom a ride... thank you so so so so much.

HELP! I desperately need a ride from the Minneapolis - St. Paul airport to the hospital in La Crosse, WI.
I just flew my mom from Boston out to MSP, to see my dad in the hospital there. The car rental isn't working out, and the buses and trains don't go until tomorrow! She's thinking about spending the night in the train station and that just breaks my heart...
It's only two and half hours away, it seems crazy that she can't get there today!
Please help if you can, or if you - as a local - know any area secrets...

just writing to apologize again for bothering you, and to let you know that a few minutes after i posted on lj and craigslist my mom ran into a pilot from boston who told her about a recently added shuttle bus which departs from the other terminal, and she was able to secure the last ticket on the last shuttle of the day... miracles DO happen.
