Tired today

I woke up at half past six, or something. This meant slightly more than 4 hours of sleep. First, on a day when you are planning to rise at around six in the morning, do not agree to play Diablo II with friends at half past eleven the evening before. Curse Diablo II and its allure. Then, when one is finally free from Diablo II, the damn role-playing game is demaning to be run, so characters has to be discussed with players. This was after the weapons discussion, though, and Squishy being considered scary due to the amount of knives he carries around, while I manage to be scary without weapons. Anyone want to provide me with a greataxe for a small experiment? (Non-lethal for all parties involved, and not very much to no physical injury to the guinea pigs.)

No matter. I have driven to Lillehammer with dad, two of his comrades from work and their bikes, before driving back again via Gjøvik, where I visited my brother in the café he works in, and had a cup of Chai tea with cinnamon and quite a few other spices in. I also aquired two new CD's (A Twist in the Myth by Blind Guardian and Secret of the Runes by Therion) and a gift for Bob-Atle, as it was his birthday earlier this week. Due to an unfortunate incident in Lillehammer, where my shorts rent, I was also forced to aquire a new pair of shorts. I now have 9 NOK (~£0.90) in my main bank account due to this... If I could only get the tax card so I can get paid soon, I'll be satisfied.

Driving home, there was no snow on the...mountains? (I am reluctant to call them mountains, as they aren't all that tall. However, hill or highland doesn't cut it either. Now, apporaching it from another direction, I ask the question "What surrounds a valley?" The answer, I guess, is mountains, so mountains it is.) on the way between Gjøvik and Oslo, which there was when last I made that journey in mid-April.

Time to drive back to Oslo and pick up dad.

Note to self: Do not wear sandals when you are going to drive for hours at a time. Wear proper shoes.
Refuse to play Diablo II at inappropriate times. Get players to create characters so I can get game out of head.
