Going Green
It was quite a few weeks back that our higher management declared of a go-green campaign whenever the team meets certain monthly target. We did meet the target and i did see snaps of fellow teammates planting saplings in a school in B'lore outskirts. A good initiative n i'd be glad if the good deed extends till saplings grow into trees. Though i ain't eligible to talk 'bt the land, esp in B'lore to suggest of an alternative, felt i should be asking these questions casually to those concerned when i can. how do they select the schools? who bothers if the school takes care of them or not? It can also be that i don't have the entire picture. If it really is an one time effort then i doubt if it is going to change anything from the go-blue scene now, choking each passing minute.
