I haven't written in a while
it's been too long.
I'm eating red vines and talking to Jon (<3) on the phone. It's mother's day but Mom isn't here, she's at my grandma's until later. I haven't made her anything but I told my dad I did. I really don't think, as a mother, she deserves any kind of reward.
But it's all good.
Last night Monique spent the night. We fixed everything up a few weeks ago, and last night I called her and asked her to come to Summer Meltdown at Golden Valley, a concert thing from 2- 11 PM, and so she did, and we planned on one of our old fashioned sleepovers but I fell asleep and we had no movies, so it was basically pig out and then sleep. She left at 7 AM to go to church, but I felt really bad because she had to walk all the way to the busstop because Tyler was being a bitch.
Last night was amazing. I'm usually totally PDA anyway, but it was like extra last night. I loved it. I'm technically ungrounded because I've been totally sucking up to my parents and they even gave me my cell back (!) for just one day. Yesterday. In the morning I worked at the special olympics, which basically meant walking around with Austin, my carpool, and his girlfriend, Danica. I think Danica thinks I'm utterly insane, but that's fine. After working, we went to Austin's to swim, but basically ended up just sitting outside in bathing suits. It was hot, maybe 90, and then we were all supposed to go to the concert at GV but only I wanted to go, so Audrey, his mom, dropped me there. It started around 2 and I got there around 3. I met up with Jon, Mary, Katie, Lori, etc. We just hung out, getting sunburned and eating, and then more people started showing up and more bands started to play, and by the time I Hate Kate and Tear The Sails got on, more people were there and some were dancing. There were these two kids, the boy was sort of chubby but was SO obviously in love with his fellow dancer. They were doing like a tango thing, but it was amazing. They knew each other's moves before it happened, and it was so amazing just watching them. I told them later, that they were amazing. Me and Jon were just watching them, but my eyes were stuck on the boy. She would be totally absorbed in her dancing, but his eyes were on her, the whole time. When she would be close to him, he would just close his eyes, and I felt like crying. They were so just amazing. At the beginning I was in a pissy mood and I didn't know why; i was irritable and mean, and I was getting really bad vibes from everyone, especially some chick in this pink shirt. Soon, though, I invited Jazmine childers, Jesenia, etc, and it was fun. Monique showed up later and was checking out this guy in a gray shirt, and me and Jon were trying to get her to hook up with him, but she decided she didn't like his adidas, but then at the end she ran back and said "You're cute", and he said "you're cute too," and then he said, "can I kiss you?" and so I watched from the stairs as they made out for a few seconds. It was adorable. She ran out to me and we shrieked like the stupid little girls we are, etc.
Friday I had Kellie, Mandi, Brittany, Marissa, & Katie over for a bit. None of them had beent to my house before, but basically we played an ongoing game of Truths. It was amazing. Loved it.
