Is there really someone out there! Who did not line up to get the book at 1 A.M.? Relax, I was joking :D Very often I read fanfics even if I have not read the canon - in several fandoms - because in the case of good writing it won't even matter. And HP is an acquired taste I guess, like olives. Or raw onions...
