Where: Ash-Vacuum, Generic Hut #5
When: February 6 (Future Dated), Morning
What: Whispers of Loki has been informed of another group of individuals passing through the portal and Kaite is here to pick them up.
A bright blue glow wakes you from your sleep. The ground under you is hard and rocky, uncomfortable to say the least, but you find yourself too weak to move. When you manage to open your eyes, the scenery around you is bleak and barren. Large huts and tents make up the surrounding area, but the land beyond that is a mystery. All you can see are the people standing around you, unknown people dressed in strange clothes, speaking in a language you can’t understand. All too quickly you’re lifted to your feet, jostled by people in cold metal armor away from the mysterious glow and shoved into a large, single-room hut. The sound of a lock echoes behind you. There are others in there with you, just as confused and unable to speak. Just like you.
A couple of hours pass. Others join your small group. Slowly, the muffled words of those guarding your hut outside become recognizable. You and the people try the words in your mouth, both foreign and familiar at the same time. Bit by bit, the words begin to flood into your mind, enough to form Sentences. Paragraphs. Angry monologues as the scenario begins to set in. You’re still too weak to do anything other than sit up, stand if you put your mind to it, but slowly your physical energy begins to return as well. But something feels... different.
Just as the language returns to you and you begin to turn to the others in the room to ask them questions, there’s a small commotion outside. The lock echoes again and a figure steps into the room, unarmored and unarmed. A look of surprise passes through his expression as he looks over the group before he settles into a bright smile, clearing his throat then speaking.
"My name’s Kaite, second-in-command of the Sleipnir Branch of Whispers of Loki. I'm aware that bit of information doesn't mean a lot to you all right now, but I'll try to explain the general situation as best as I can. You have all been somehow transported to our world, Midgard, through a dimensional portal. The scientists studying this portal don't know how or why, but more importantly, they don't know how to send you back. So in the mean time, our government has ordered that you've all to be entrusted to the guild I represent, Whispers of Loki. We'll be getting Recalled soon to join up with the rest of the guild, but for now any questions you may have I'll answer to the best of my ability."
