Who: Pretty much everyone
Where: Deck of the Sleipnir
When: Feb 22nd, late morning
What: Ingram announces new member(s) so everyone can come and watch them land on their butts. And then proceeds to recall the new member(s).
"Everyone! I realize you're enjoying breakfast right now, but we have a special new guest coming! Kaite has gone to retrieve him, and I will be recalling him in about, oh... half an hour.
Chug your orange juice faster."
Twenty minutes later...
Midconversation, you realize there’s this strange, tingling grasp on the back of your neck. You have this urge to reach back and scratch at it, but as you do so, the grasp turns into a pulling sensation. You swear there’s no one directly behind you, so it makes absolutely no sense. But even if this piece of logic hits you in the middle of the pulling, there is nothing you can do now. The world turns itself in a strange rotation and everything seems to stretch out with strange lights floating up your vision. Everything flashes bright, almost painfully, white.
The next thing you can comprehend is the feeling of hardwood under your feet. Or your butt, if you fell over in the shock. But nonetheless, there’s a brisk breeze blowing over you and through your hair and clothes now, the sky a bright blue over your head.
As you orient yourself and take in your surroundings, you find yourself on a large, fairly sturdy ship. A sail overhead is emblazoned with what looks like a mask split into two pieces and two different expressions. The ship looks somewhat new, barely broken in.
For the new person, this could easily be very familiar or absolutely jarring. Though to be fair, it could be both. That was easily the case for many of the guild members, after all. Either way, Ingram, this priest garbed similarly to Kaite only resplendent in purple, smiles and waves.
"Welcome to the Sleipnir!I am Ingram Maahes, the Sleipnir branch guild leader for Whispers of Loki. You have access to most of the ship, save for the engine room, the captain's room, and my room. All three are locked, and any attempt to get in will result in repercussions."
That last bit he emphasized with a slightly deeper tone, then swept right back into his spiel.
"We also employ a shipwide horn system for announcements. Abuse of this will also result in punishment. All that aside, I hope Kaite managed to fill you in on everything you needed to know, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask any questions you'd like!"
