Screw elitists.
A writing style is a style and if one person had come to me and asked why I did what I did and for an explination as to why I did it well....well, it would include having to have a shred of decency and understanding, as well as, some civility in their bodies and not been so up in arms over a style of writing and instead focusing on the context of the writing and the potential that it contained. Maybe then they could have gotten to know ME.
ME the person. Ya know the one who used that style of writing as a tool after her illness nearly killed her and she couldn't function one iota and it forced her to have to learn how to READ AND WRITE all over again at the age of 30. No, instead, I get fed lies, get backstabbed and ignored. Taking away something I had found solace and happiness in because I was home bound so often. No, its like bitter ashes in my mouth. Then to have these same people come to me later when all their resources are gone to ask me to write with them like nothing ever happened. Like I was only good enough as a last resort.
No, no one gives a rats ass about anyone but themselves. Giving a rats ass about your self half the time is a good thing but there are OTHER PEOPLE on the planet. To make up lies, to go around that person's back and when called on it to fib over it only to have my hunches proven fruitful later on is just plain wrong.
