Rain is not your friend or How one realitor can screw you in the ass
Alright party people.
I was going to make this a happy go lucky post about ockmond letting me know that Liam Lynch had a podcast and how cool it was and how there is new sifl & olly stuff on it.
But no, thats not what this one is about.
This one is about a ceiling. So, when i first moved into this place, it had only half of a ceiling cause katrina had damaged all the tiles in the front half and they fell in. Well, they assured me that all the leaks had been fixed and that these new tiles were to be put in.
Also, I have 3 big front windows. Well, they are ass old like the rest of the house. And they would be damn near impossible to replace. Of course, one of them got blasted in during the storm. They have been trying to get a replacement, and I was told a week ago that they just finally got the notice that they have been shipped and should be here soon...
Well...soon is not enough.
Cut to just now. One of the classic new orleans quick storms. Heavy rain, high wind, the whole shit.
Then what happens, water starts shooting out of the sides of my boarded up window. And I have a lamp next to an electrical outlet right there. I unplug/move that shit as fast as I can. Then i notice, that the ceiling has started leaking in the upper left hand corner of the room.
Luckily, expert leaves me prepared.
So, I grab 2 five-gallon paint buckets and throw them under the leak.
Now, keep in mind that they told me the roof doesn't leak anymore. Now with ALL this in mind
The second, i mean the SECOND.....i move....4inches from my head. BOOM about 5 tiles fall to the ground. At that point, i just say fuck that shit. And I start bitching out riverlake (the realitor). They better get some fuckers to fix this shit like tommorow. Cause im not having this crap.
More news as it comes, for now, I fucking hate this joint.
EDIT: HOLY FUCKIN CRAP. LUCAS HAS DONE ONLY ONE THING RIGHT IN HIS ENTIRE LIFE. UNALTERED STARWARS ON DVD!!!! Every cloud has a Crecent Fresh Lining.
PS: One more tile fell from my roof while ive been home. I expect another before they fix it.
