Whoosh!
So I'm back home again... Fulfilled my duty concerning the regional elections... in both rounds. Myesh. It was also a nice little break form my computer. Normally I wouldn't even dream of saying something like this, but after a month and a half spent mostly in my room and in front of a PC screen doing very few fun things, I really did need the break.
And yesterday I went shopping with my mum.
Those who know me will laugh by the following statement, but... I bought two pairs of boots *sheepish look* OK, OK, I KNOW, but I couldn't help it! XD I'm not very fashion-conscious as a person and am perfectly happy to run around all year with a pair of jeans, a tee and sneakers on, but I adore boots. I have too many pairs when comparing them to the total number of shoes I own, but they're just so fantastic... I should so own a boot factory...
Anyway, just to be a little girlish, I'll bore whoever wants to listen about what I bought. Both pairs of boots are brown. One pair stops just below the knees and is very... gestapo-office like XDXD They've got nice, round toe-ends and almost no heel, which for me, is very rare. Like I said, I love mah trainers and to be comfortable, but I want my boots to have hellishly high heels. They just feel more feminine, I dunno. But that particular pair is also very jockey-like, and they're super comfortable. And they match perfectly with the two pairs of pants I bought. Both are checked and one of them stops at knee-length, while the other a little below mid-thigh. The longer pair is brown/beige, and the shorter one khaki/brown. I also got myself a sleeveless black turtleneck which is all stretchy and snug and kewl, and I snagged a sweater of my mom's which she was kind enough to give away XD;;; It's striped and also beige/brown, so it matches fantastically with my pants. The other pair of boots I got is brown again, with the heel all cowboy-boot like and it's all furry on the inside. The boots are short, stopping below my calf and I can either wear them as they are or fold the rim and show off the furry interior XD
And last, but definitely not least! My khaki jacket <3333 It's got love written all over it. It's basically a two-piece thing: a vest and a pair of sleeves (a 'bolero' as those are called). The vest goes all the way down to mid-chest where it splits and pretty much leaves the tummy bare, and the bolero is worn on top of that, buttoning up close to the neck. It's just really killer and totally my style. But it can obviously be worn only during fall and late summer, otherwise I'll freeze my ass off XD
So that's pretty much it about my little shopping spree. I'll have to show mah clothes off first thing on Tuesday at uni. The gestapo-boots, longer pants, turtleneck and bolero make me feel verrah Emma from the Blackbird sisters books XD Pleti will know what I mean XDXD I really do look like a jockey wearing those. A stylish jockey, thankyouverymuch XP
Now to find myself a pair of riding crops for, er... *cough* Never mind...
