contest!
hello everyone, i'm posting with two subjects of interest.
first, i joined fanfic100, with the claim of max and logan. so with any luck, eventually, i'll have written one hundred stories about our favorite canceled tv show couple. so far i've written two new ones and used one old one (cooking lesson), and you can check out my progress at fanfic100 or at my writing gj, linda eastman.
second, i thought that it might be a good idea to start up writing challenges, or contests. i thought it might get people posting in the community more often, and anyone who feels like participating can do so. in a contest/challenge post, you would be given a challenge, which could be something like a song, or it would have to focus on a certian episode, or a certain character. your entry can be as long as you'd like, it could even be as short as a sentence, just as long as you incorporate the challenge in your entry somehow. winning would be based on voting and voting would be done either by polls or anonymous commenting.
let me know what you guys think of the writing contest idea, and if you have any suggestions or ideas.
