Win! :-)

You should crosspost or link these to scans_daily and/or secondbananas.

secondbananas is practically a concentrated distillation of all the Rogues Gallery love on the internet, after all. We even had a mini Rogues ficathon once :-).

I was thinking about it, but I was afraid that most people would have seen the scans before. Do you think there would be enough interest?

Either way, I think I should go join secondbananas.

I saw a few scans at least that I don't think have been put up before. I think people would appreciate them :-).

And yay :-). I have to go post more at secondbananas now that I have holidays and free time. Hopefully the Piper and Trickster fic I'm writing with a friend will be finished soon...

Oh my Grodd God, the sentient musical notes are so meta and cracky they make my brain bleed. Also, Grodd dressing up in a gorilla suit is hysterical! When you mentioned the guy with amnesia turned out to be Grodd I was like, "Um, wouldn't the tailor have noticed he was a giant gorilla?" I'm glad there was a highly...reasonable...explanation.

The Trickster is adorable. They're fantastic together! But obviously Piper/Blatt OTP forever...

I'm all for the Blatt showing up in Countdown. Piper and Trickster will finally have been cornered by a vengeful hero, it's the end of the line, when out of nowhere comes...THE BLATT!

I would forgive DC just about anything to see someone squished (non-lethally) by a huge sentient musical note.

I could even manage to make room in my heart for a Piper/Trickster/Blatt OT3, although Trickster might have some wooing to do...

Bwahahaha! I'm imagining Trickster serenading The Blatt in an attempt to win its love...

And now, I'm going to have to write a crack!fic about it.

I found this post through journal hopping and I almost fit the target audience as I've been following scans of Countdown and becoming more and more tempted to actually plunge into it for the sake of Piper and Trickster, whom I barely know but such is the power of fandom osmosis that I get really really excited coming across a post full of their past canon ( ... )

Ooh! Is that a Singing in the Rain icon? I approve!

Countdown is not as good as I was hoping it would be (the Jimmy Olsen story is a bit of a disappointment), but I feel like it's worth following for Piper and Trickster. They're by far the most interesting story line.

The tailor could always be like a bartender for them, though. Maybe going to him to patch up their costumes after a defeat, they also unload all their angst and history on him. Does he appear in any stories beside this one?

Oh, I love that idea! I can see, say, Captain Cold coming in, and while Gambi is stitching up his costume, he'd say "Did I ever tell you about my childhood?" Unfortunately, I think this is his only appearance.

Thank you for sharing!

You're welcome! I'm having a lot of fun with these. The second installment is up here and there's more to come! I'm planning on posting links on scans_daily, or you can friend me if you want to keep up with them!

Heavens no, my friend! Gambi was in fact a recurring character who starred in The Flash an amusing amount of times. He even went to Boomerang's funeral!

You think I'm joking? :-)

I'm glad there is some stuff here that people haven't seen before! I was hesitant to post at first because I thought it would all be old news.

I'm happy you enjoyed the scans!

Genius. Pure genius.

Why isn't there a Rogue ongoing series again?

Also, Trickster's family is from Italy? And from Naples, my own city, at that? Awesome :D

There really should be! But it would have to se set on an earth where the Rogues didn't kill Bart...

Also, Trickster's family is from Italy?

I want someone to refer to Trickster as Giovanni now : )

And twenty-four hours later...that's actually kind of eerie. :) Use your mystic powers wisely!
