Okay the update you all been waiting for (well I probably told some of you...)
I got the Blue Sky Studios position!
heh I'm gonna be a Render Wrangler (for goooood $$ ;-D)
Here's a description from another company, but it's close enough.
So anyway that's about right. I'm also gonna be training in another department of my chosing to work towards a promotion in about a year. Cool shit.
So I felt bad telling Mark @ Doyle Sails I had to go, but as it turns out he had just heard from a sailmaker who was layed off last week. So he'll get my job without so much as a lost day. He was very cool about it which made everything so much easier.
So anyway, I'm looking forward to starting work April 19th - I'll let you all know how it goes.
Oh yeah and I am taking this week off (I offered Mark 2 weeks, but he said if it was ok with me he'd start the new guy ASAP). So time to catch up on some sleep and little things I've been meaning to do for the past month! Like get a haircut, cash my paychecks and whatnont.
