work was fun :)

Cut out the sail #'s and insignia for a blue jay sail, modified a large cruising mainsail to use a furling system, and began repairs on a HUGE 1233.8 sq.ft Swan57 genoa. I spent a large portion of the day on my hands and knees workin on the sails so my knees are kinda sore. I guess I'll wear the knee pads they offered me tommorow.

So far I have 3 initial sales that they passed along to me (they'll give me some but I have to start finding my own too!), one for some service on a furling system, one for a genoa and one for a mainsail. 25% commission should be sweet on em though.

It's cool, because basiclly my boss told me he doesn't have enough time to deal with some of the smaller customers and many times before there were being ignored. So that's why I am brought in to make sure we don't lose those sales. Well, and to help out on any work in the loft @ the time. So it's win win...I get my commission and they boost their sales. ;)

They want me cruising the marinas and clubs too just chattin people up about their boats and to give them my card "in case they need anything at all"

Ohh man salesman sleeze! :-D ah well it's sales but it's sails.....not like I am putting sawdust in the gastank and rolling the odometer back ;)

Sounds like I am going to be doing some WWW work for em too, so I truly will be a jack of all trades!

So I have my own desk, and a crappy computer - I think i am gonna bring my laptop everyday and use that but it's all pretty sweet stuff!

Anyway I'm pretty tired, so time to rest and take a break. I gotta write a little bio for that press release too....okay hope all are well!

Thanks to all who wished me luck n all! I think it worked ;)
