Job Update: Good News!
Hey all!
Just wanted to post a quick update about my job, though some of you already know about it...I'm just so happy about it, I can't help myself! :D
I was getting 24 hours a week at the nursing home where I work, but another facility closer to my house (operated by the same company) had an opening for a full-time position. My current boss recommended me for it, and I had my interview today...and I got the job!
As soon as the transfer paperwork comes through, I'll be working closer to home and a LOT more hours! Hooray! I'll be earning lots of money toward grad school, or whatever the next step will be. :)
And, randomly, this other facility is about two blocks from the gym I go to! It'll be much easier to exercise, shower, and head to work now. Another perk!
Anyway, thanks to all of you who prayed for me and wished me well - you guys rock! :D
