that paper I was supposed to have done in - what was it - late March about Caliban? The that, if I don't turn it in, I don't get a grade? That paper?
Turns out I never actually wrote it. at all.
And you know that , funny thing, what is it, that essay for Major British Writers, due tomorrow? Ha, ha, funny thing, barely in the rough draft phase.

You're a better lit student than me for actually bothering with rough drafts. I tend to just have a "draft with glaring blank spaces and snarky reminders to myself of what to put there" phase and a "draft where you replace all the snarky reminders with actual content" phase when writing papers. ^^

Did I tell you about my final paper on Paradise Lost and the Rape of the Lock which included the lines "insert quote"? That's why I look a wee bit askance at that idea now. You never know what you'll forget.
