(no subject)
Well, our computer is readying its funeral pyre, so in a final tribute, I will post all the icons I had meant to make into JPGs but never got around to. Expect them shortly.
News in other bullets:
- A recipe: Two and a half months of rehearsals, five drafts of the single script, one stomp, three Pirates of the Caribbean jokes, minus one pilgrimage to J. M. Barrie's grave, multiplied by sweat and tears and divided by the judges' opinion, equals fourth place out of sixty-something schools and second place in sweepstakes. Not too shabby. Third place was not as good as we were, but hey, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows loved us, as did The Seven Deadly Sins in Children's Literature. And we found them fantastic. Peter Pan faced worthy foes indeed. We performed as a team, with friendship and confidence in the quality of our skit, and we're therefore richer than any prize could make us.
... although, that said, it would have been so awesome to perform one more time, just once more, at the Assembly. But I digress.
- This note has come a week late.
- I need to practice my flirting. My brother does not need to know this.
- I have made a group on facebook! ... and now I wish I had made it so that it was not solely confined to my school, but, ah well. It's a petition of solidarity! Peaceful protests! I'll shut up now!
- You know what? Forgetting a single homework assignment, one measly article, is NOT valid grounds for a deficiency. It is not. My government/econ teacher is unfair. (and the fact that I did forget such a stupid, stupid assignment is not helping either.)
- I'm hungry, and the guests who were supposed to show up THREE HOURS AGO aren't showing up. So, I think I'll chow down. Ciao!
