it's about time?
because i'm reinventing the art of procrastination, and because today and last week have been too lovely for me to want to open a book just yet... because phone calls from home don't make me lonely anymore (even if i don't answer them) because of free food and a gaining sense of life direction (that might be a lie)!
and because our ceiling has so many lanterns on it it looks like a circus. we bought a $20 tv, and posters from the cute boy at the seaport and pet turtles from canal street, and our sexy magnetic poetry (probe her genital button!) is in heavy rotation. we hung phallic andy warhol and ex-boyfriend's trendy paintings and christmas lights and oven mitts. i've learned that left to my own devices i will subsist more or less on grilled cheese sandwiches, avocados and applesauce. and while none of this makes much sense, probably since i was awake at 6 this morning to go to work after a frantic night of acquiring and arranging the aforementioned decorations...it's nice to live somewhere that feels like home instead of just somewhere to sleep.
