Magpie

Here's an interesting thought. Magpie thinks of herself as good and her adversary as evil. From her own actions so far, the observer has no basis for judgement. BUT, she thinks of the woman they faced together as good, and that woman was torturing someone.  How do we know if Magpie is good? Most people don't think of themselves as evil; they think they're *justified* in what they do. Have to watch how this develops.

Also - at the end of that encounter, how interesting is it that the "bad guy" is the only one still bleeding? The victim is not, and Magpie assumes he's dead; the torturer is either gone or dead; and Magpie's own wounds, inflicted when she grabbed the knife blade, have healed. Even the blood from her wounds and the victim's blood on her hands is gone.
