Advice
I need some advice on a "fight" I am having... A couple of my SB friends are up in the bay area and all week they're like "can't wait to see you" and I told them I didn't like to "go out" aka get wasted... because I just don't like that. they stopped by my house for like 3 hrs on friday and rushed out as quickly as possible so that they could go out to the bars.
They said they might come down and then now they're going to the city. I said it was fucked up to say that they were coming up and couldn't wait to see me when I get to see them for 3 hours and that's it. One girl is saying that since the other one is driving she has no control and has to do what she wants to do. So I said that was selfish and the other friend is mad. I know this is extremely high schooly and dramatic but I was really hurt. they told me that if I cared I would drive (and hour) to the city and hang out with them. that I am the one being selfish
am I right in being upset that they won't come hang out with me? am I overreacting? This is so stupid and I can't believe that I am wasting my brain cells on something this petty... but I just don't like being a friend of convenience. If they really cared wouldn't they make plans with me instead of inviting me along to their plans?
