Rewatching Buffy
I've been suffering from the flu and staying on the couch below a couple of heavy blankets. Between bouts of shivering I've been rewatching Buffy's second season. I still think it's overall story arc is the best of them all.
Maybe it has a lot to do with the fact that I think Angel is a boring character while Angelus is much more fun. On the other hand, the romantic in me loves episodes like "Passion", "I Only Have Eyes for You" and "Becoming Pt.2". What all of these episodes have in common is extreme angst and a sense of doomed passion. You know it can't ever happen, but you still wish that they could everything would go right.
A completely irrelevant thing I noticed that having become more aware about fic writing & slash than I was when I first saw these eps, it's fun to spot some instances that make my fic radar go like, 'oh yeah, fic/slash writers probably had a field day with this scene' :D.
Next on the menu, continuing the Buffy marathon with Season Three.
