My sister asked her kids (9 & 7) to take her out skating as a birthday gift, since her birthday is on Monday and she'll turn 40.
Kids' response: Mom, we'll never find enough padding/equipment for you not to get hurt reeeeeaaalllly bad.
LOL, she and the kids both know she is not that good at skating XD. I offered to go with them and surprise the kids with the knowledge that auntie actually can skate. :D
To all new LJ friends, I've recenly (well most of this year) been rather bad about updating, but I am trying to get back into it.
I already know I must make a massive book post or two or three before year end. At the moment I've reached my initial goal of reading at least 100 titles this year. Secondary goal is to go for 125. :)
