Once Upon a Time and Grimm, both much expected fairy tale based series appeared a couple days ago. These are my initial reactions after watching the pilot episodes on both.
Grimm has a darker, more real feeling to it, whereas Once Upon a Time feels like Disney gone soap opera or Enchanted's slightly darker twin. Actually, one of my first thoughts regarding Grimm was Supernatural goes fairy tales. :D There are hunters, monsters, dark family secrets, you name it.
Going on with unpopular fandom opinions:
New Takitsuba song sounds so much like a Tegomass song, I'd prefer they sung it. I'd prefer them to have a dance song like "Kamen".
Sho and Keiko's new drama is pretty bad. IMO, only rabid Arashi fans would call it good.
Keiko is pretty, though. I liked those rumours of her and Yamapi being together, even though I still haven't watched Buzzer Beat (And I have the ridiculously expensive Japanese DVD set with official English subs. Subs!!!! Happens once in a blue moon.)
Other jdramas: Hunter looks like a lot of fun. I'll probably check at least one episode of 'Kimutaku's Antarctica melting hotness' and then I've got the Korean drama Vampire Prosecutor on my list. Just for the name alone :D.
