Dramas, TV, etc

I know I've been absent for quite a while. I've been reading all the entries on my friends list, but I just haven't felt like posting anything. I guess these things go by waves - sometimes you just don't feel like posting anything :/.

This post is brought to you by dramas (shouldn't be surprising at all). Kdramas to be exact.

I've watched three episodes of the new Yoon Eun Hye/Kang Ji Hwan drama Lie to Me and I'm utterly bored. The younger brother is the only character that seems even slightly interesting, but otherwise it seems to incorporate all the most tired kdrama romcom clichés anywhere into this one drama :P.

On jdrama front, I absolutely love the puppy drama ♥♥♥♥♥. I wondered about Ryo before the drama start, but seeing him with the kids, the cute dog, and Mizukawa Asami, it's just perfectly adorable. The whole family works so well together, they're adorable!

I'm quite liking BOSS 2, though some of the humour feels a bit more forced than on the first season. Still, it's quite a lot of fun. I am very much looking forward to the crossover episode with Shiawase ni Narou Yo, the marriage agency drama with Katori Shingo, Kuroki Meisa, and Fujiki Naohito. Should be a lot of fun.

Shiawase is another one I've been watching. It's pretty clear right from the first drama prologue/first episode who the drama OTP are going to be, but there are plenty of obstacles on the way.

The off-beat drama for this season is Muscle Girl, which tells about a female pro-wrestling team down on it's luck. The original owner has died recently and his daughter (Ichikawa Yui) is doing her best to keep the agency and the team alive.

She comes across a young Korean guy (Lee Hong Ki) at a moment when she is desperate for help and for his own reasons he agrees to help her out and work as a referee on a match.

He has his own reasons for being in Japan, since he's searching for his missing mother. He's actually some kind of a hallyu star, but he escaped his management in order to find his mother.

I expect a lot of hijinks to ensue. And it's Lee Hong Ki, who is just adorable whatever he does :D.

Oh, I guess I should also mention that OMG THE BORGIAS TOTALLY ADDICTED. I hate the fact that Sunday is going to be the last episode this season. 9 episodes is just way too little time with François Arnaud the Borgia family.

jeremy irons, lie to me, katori shingo, muscle girl, kuroki meisa, kdramas, jdramas, the borgias, boss, mizukawa asami, doramas, nishikido ryo, fujiki naohito, tv, yoon eun hye, kang ji hwan, lee hong ki, francois arnaud, ichikawa yui
