Takitsuba Matsuri

Some random comments on Takitsuba Matsuri:

Takki is such a total failboat in this XD. He really hams it up for the camera, but that happens always with him. He failed to catch his cane during "Serenade" and when Tsubasa ribbed him about it after the song ended, had an even more dramatic failure and just kept flipping that cane in the air and trying to catch for quite some time :D. He also forgot the lyrics to "Tremolo" during one of the performances (on the Tour clip from Disc 3)…

Tsubasa was cool throughout :DV. And looked really good.

The solo song medley they did together was really nice. I really need to rip it into an mp3/aac for myself!!!

I just love the way they performed acoustic "Tremolo" and "Arigato" one after the other. Love both of those songs!!!

I really admire the stamina of the guys. On DVD, the first part of the concert is 128 min and the second disc is three (3!!!) encores lasting about 48 min in all! O_O

The DVD is really well cut with lots of closeups of the guys and with a screen split when they are too far from each other to film together.

FiVe and Mis Snow Man do get their own spots as well. And for the Junior fans, there is quite a bit of footage with Mis Snow Man on the background.

I LOVED the cold shoulder thing that was made to look like they would fight and then ended up in a hug. And Takki lifted Tsubasa up like a wrestler.

Also the name shout-up. Tsubasa always getting louder shouts in Takki's mind. And then the final moment when a single male voice shouted out "TAKKIII!!!!" XD

Lots of fun moments on the DVDs. I just hope somebody will sub at least some parts. I really should start studying Japanese, considering how many years already I've been addicted to this fandom... It's not like I haven't picked up my share of random Japanese already with the dramas and the variety shows and the songs.
