SOME VERY RIPE CHEESE HERE
Oh dear! I just watched the first episode of the new US series The Vampire Diaries and it was baaaadddd :D. I'd been reading comments about it's badness on the f-list, so I thought I needed to check out this thing myself. I guess I should have just believed all those comments...
I don't think I'll watch any more episodes, since it looks like a major ripoff of Twilight. I mean, a vampire in high school (who would ever want to relive their high school years?!). Being noble and not eating people. Stalking a high school girl because she reminds him of his ancient love (Catherine d. 1864). Etc. Etc.
