Ryuzaki has such immense sadness and loneliness in his eyes!
Everybody only wants to use him and his power and doesn't care for him at all. The scene where his mother left the village was just heart-breaking, though the hug he gave Hasebe after his nightmare might at last make me ship those two a bit.
Hasebe was so very judgmental in the beginning, but I think she has begun to appreciate how hard having Ryuzaki's healing power might be. Even her long-standing colleague went crazy and kidnapped Ryuzaki so he could heal his wife's dementia :(. All this has also shown that Ryuzaki has his own code for choosing who he heals and who he doesn't. And he doesn't take orders from anyone!
It very much looks like Aoi's parents know more than they are telling, even they are willing to support Aoi-san even knowing about his powers. Aoi is finally growing a backbone and is not willing to be anyone's puppet, just like Ryuzaki.
The scene with Kumakiri's father protecting his son, the drug dealer made me tear up, since whatever either of them had done, the moment the father thought Kumakiri had been killed, he was thinking of only him. So his relief at finding him alive, even though he had just stabbed a government employee (a corrupt one, but still), was completely genuine. I also liked Hikaru's completely bewildered expression when the father was actually caring about and trying to protect his son. Hikaru should do more dramas, since I've actually liked his acting in this drama a lot!
It still want to learn about what is the connection between Aoi and Ryuzaki, since they both have the same good luck charm and are from the same village. Are they possibly siblings? Ryuzaki's mother is shown leaving the village, but his father's face is never shown. Is there possibly a reason behind that?
There are still a lot of mysteries about the two charactes and on why and how they got their powers. I have a very strong suspicion this will all end in tragedy, because powers like that have already been shown to drive normal people crazy. They cannot be allowed to exist in normal society...
