I.e the new series by Joss Whedon, starring Eliza Dushku. First episode looks pretty interesting, introducing characters and the setting, while jumping right into the action.
I've liked Eliza Dushku ever since she appeared as Faith in Buffy, so it's interesting to see her in another tv show again. Tru Calling had an interesting idea as well, but in the end didn't work out that well.
The guy doing the wipes is already showing clear signs of mad scientist syndrome, while Echo's handler looks like he believes in justice more than on Dollhouse's profit. I haven't yet decided what to make of Tahmoh Penikett's investigator or the lady running the show.
The mind-wipe thing and implanted personalities sound interesting as a concept, and provide plenty of material for the show to play with. Just in this episode alone, we already had Eliza Dushku as a party girl and as a serious negotiator with a past of abuse.
Still, I'd like to know more about her before she joined Dollhouse, and what made her go for it. The glimpses we had were very brief and vague and only managed to convey her sense of desperation. There are also intriguing hints of human trafficking in this show.
I'll have to see a couple more episodes of this before I make up my mind about it...
