Episode 10: "The 12-Step Job"
There was so much Sophie/Nate goodness in this episode!
I loved the disgusted looks she keeps throwing him while they are interviewing the client and later on in the rehab centre. Nate is so much in denial about the fact the he really has a problem even though it perfectly clear to everyone around him. Withdrawal symptoms and hallucinations, anyone?! I just hope Sophie can wait until he gets his act together.
Heh, the way she homed in on him the minute they were in "group therapy," trying to admit to his problem, while he kept trying to divert her to their mark instead. And Parker rolling her eyes and thinking 'here they go again...' :D
Still, this episode did have some interesting parallels with the mark and with Nate. I especially liked this bit of dialogue:
"Tell me something, Tom [Nate's character]. Lying, stealing, cheating. If you're doing it to help someone, does it make it okay?"
Which is a good question, considering that's exactly what Nate is doing with his group. They are just more successful than the other guy's half-hearted attempts ever were. And Nate does have the group and Sophie to help him stay focused on the job.
I LOVED the scene with Eliot and Hardison arriving to the rehab centre: "I'm with him." "So you are a friend of..." "No. I am with him." The look on Eliot's face was priceless :D.
Also, the end of the episode, when Parker arrives to them, happily bouncing under the influence of the happy pills and then goes off with Eliot and Hardison made me think that those three are such an OT3! (Somebody is probably already writing the fic...)
Completely unrelated to Leverage, the episode of Arashi no Shukudai-kun with Nagase Tomoya was pure win. Putting those guys together in a show was a stroke of genius! It was such a hilarious episode! Nii-san :D! Helicopter! The food O_O!
