I've been watching various Japanese variety clips today and here are some random comments on them:
SQUEEEEE! Aiba with baby pandas!!! SO CUTE!!! I think it must be the cutest thing I've EVER seen!!! I was audibly squealing while watching it and even tearing up a bit a few times. It's just so ADORABLE! (subs by sakurai storm)
Toma and a few others from the Maou cast getting molested by appearing on a show with several female comedians was hilarious :D! Heh, the comments about him by his fellow cast members were really fun as well :).
Diana, you definitely must watch this!!!!!!!! (subs by tomalicious)
I've already seen the Domoto Tsuyoshi and Imai Tsubasa double date from Tsuyoshi's Soujiki Shindoi before, but then it was without subs. Still, it was hilarious even then. I suspect this time it'll be even funnier... :D
I guess one of the reasons that makes it so funny is that those two guys (big name, extremely popular boybanders in their mid- to late twenties) are soooo totally clueless and awkward with their dates!
I guess I'll continue with some more Gokusen 2. I've only got a few episodes left and I have to admit it's quite as entertaining as the first sries. And it's fun to see a few actors, like Mizushima Hiro (in a total 'blink and you'll miss it' role) and Hayami Mokomichi when they were younger, since both are getting quite popular nowadays. Koike Teppei has always been cute, wherever I've seen him :D...
I'm even liking Jin a lot in this, which is a surprise, since I'm usually not that fond of him. Kame, on the other hand, is usually more known for his acting skills, but I'm finding him rather forgettable in this...
However, I still feel the original Gokusen is the best, with all the Sawada Shin/Yankumi interaction... The second season seems okay, but completely pales in comparison with the first one! I think I won't even start to watch the third one :P...
