Finncon, Day 1
I'm writing this on my hotel's TV screen/extremely clunky keyboard combination, but since I paid for it already, I might as well use it :P. The hotel itself is very nice and right in the centre of Tampere, only a few minutes walk away from Tampere-talo (where the con is held) or Telakka which has the evening party.
Tonight was the informal gathering of the people who were already in town in Telakka, and it was very much fun chatting with friends from all over Finland. I even spotted at least one of the GOHs (Charles Vess), but didn't talk with any of them today.
I guess I should go to sleep early enough so that I'll have time to shower, make it to the breakfast and then attend the opening ceremonies at 10 a.m. I'll just quickly check my f-list and then read some more DWJ before going to sleep :).
