The first two episodes of Zettai Kareshi (Absolute Boyfriend) were extremely funny and cute and absolutely delightful :). The heroine is a bit on the ditzy side, but still no total pushover. The robotic boyfriend is wonderful and so sweet!
Nanba-san's Mizushima Hiro's character is also great. He's so bored and indifferent at first, but quickly gets interested in Riiko. Especially after tasting her cream puffs... But he also hides his very real interest under a cover of indifference...
It looks like this drama will work as a perfect counterfoil against all the speculation and anxiety every new episode of Last Friends brings with it. ZK is such mindless fun, it's perfect for relaxing :). And it makes me grin so hard :D!
Yes! I thought the heroine looked familiar! She also appears in the wonderful Utahime which received far less notice than it should have. I still have a few episodes to watch on it, but it really is worth checking out.
The poor ratings the drama got were absolutely ridiculous. How can some complete rehash like Gokusen 3 get extremely high ratings, when a quality drama like Utahime has to struggle with ratings under 10%. There's no justice in life :P.
